WELCOME TO KATE LOCKWOOD OSTEOPATHY
Osteopathy is a gentle and holistic approach to healthcare that emphasizes the role of the musculoskeletal system (bones, muscles and joints) in health and disease. Osteopaths work using their hands to perform a number of soft tissue and mobilisation techniques to treat many common ailments, helping to restore the body to a position where it can facilitate the role of self healing.
All members of the family can be treated, from new born babies to the elderly, for a wide range of complaints.
Having been a keen horsewoman all my life, competing in dressage and eventing, I also specialise in the treatment of horses and their riders. Using equine osteopathy along with the structural assessment of the rider we can make sure that you are both functioning at 100%, helping to increase your overall performance together as a team.
Dogs can also benefit greatly from osteopathic treatment for a number of conditions. All types of dogs from working, agility and show dogs to pet dogs can be treated.
The areas I cover include Oxfordshire & Berkshire.
